Tekken Tag 2 Customization Bits in Famitsu

Versus City just posted a nice little article about the Tekken Tag Tournament 2article in the latest issue of Famitsu Magazine. It’s not much but in this time when TTT2 news is pretty dry, it’s very much appreciated. The update is mainly about a new play mode called Team Trials and Items in Character Customization.

Team Trials are challenges you and your teammate have to complete to earn stuff like Fight Money, special items and other stuff. The mode’s layout is apparently structured like a Bingo card, so you can see what matches you have before you and your current progress before completion.
Items described include something called LED Items, which are assumed to be used to change the background designs/visuals during the Character Intros- Man, these are things I particularly appreciate, no thanks to the freakin’ players of most Location Tests who almost always skip the damn intros and winposes… feh. Then there’s SP Itemswhich allow you to switch your character portrait from the default CG art to artworks done by some famed manga artists/illustrators.
